About this resource
Art Gallery is a collection of generative watercolor studies by shubhu, hosted at trywatercolorart.world. Each piece unfolds through a short painting sequence before settling into a finished image. The gallery currently lists 63 studies, including landscapes, flowers, still lifes and abstract compositions. Open an individual study to focus on its painting process and move between neighbouring works. The subjects range from Incoming Tide and Bowl of Peaches to Japanese landscapes, gardens and geometric arrangements. This makes the collection useful for studying translucent colour, layered washes and the pacing of a generative illustration. The Studio adds an editable workspace around the paintings. You can choose a study, pause it, request a new variation and adjust the available dials. Incoming Tide exposes controls for water, coverage, density, scale, softness, glaze, brush size and wave strength, alongside a seed value, colour palettes and editable process phrases. The interface offers PNG stills at several scales, video export presets and downloadable JavaScript or HTML piece files. Individual study pages also provide a Copy HTML control. These are useful routes for exploring how the work is built or preparing a permitted personal presentation. The artwork is free for personal and other non-commercial uses under the site’s stated CC BY-NC 4.0 license and accompanying terms. Sharing requires author credit and a link back. The site forbids monetization and repackaging the artwork as your own library, product, print, NFT or collection; paid or business use needs permission from the creator. The underlying p5.js and p5.brush libraries have separate MIT licenses, which do not make the artwork commercially unrestricted.
Usage and licensing
