About this resource

Boxicons is a large web icon library built for designers and developers. Its catalog includes more than 50,000 icons designed around a consistent visual system for interfaces, websites and design systems. Icons are available across three styles and three weights, with more than 40 categories covering shapes, writing and reading, maps and travel, photo and video, nature, design, communication, e-commerce and many other subjects. The website includes an interactive icon explorer where users can customize color, size, rotation, flipping and padding before export. Assets can be exported as SVG, PNG, WebP, React components and icon fonts. For designers, Boxicons provides Figma and Framer plugins. Developers can use its CLI and packages for React, Vue, Svelte and JavaScript, making it easy to use the same icon system across both design and production code. The free plan includes 3,500+ icons, SVG libraries, free Figma and Framer plugin access, and framework packages. Paid plans unlock PRO icons, full Explorer access, web fonts and additional features. At the time of review, the individual PRO plan was priced at $39 per year. Free Boxicons may be used in personal and commercial projects. Free icons use a Creative Commons 4.0 license, fonts use SIL OFL 1.1 and code is provided under the MIT License.
