About this resource
Gradient Hunt is a free and open platform for discovering color gradients. Its library contains thousands of user-created gradients, with selected submissions curated for the main collection. Gradients can be explored through New, Linear, Radial, Popular and Random sections. Each gradient provides quick access to its CSS code and can be saved to a personal likes collection. The site also includes a gradient creator, allowing users to make their own color combinations and submit them to the community. Gradient Hunt is especially useful for web designers, UI/UX designers, illustrators, brand designers and developers looking for quick backgrounds, color accents or transitions for websites, apps, presentations and visual projects. Gradient Tabs, a Chrome extension from Gradient Hunt, displays a popular gradient whenever a new tab is opened. A separate paid Photoshop pack includes 500 of the platform’s most-voted gradients. Gradient Hunt was created by Franco Maldonado in June 2018 as a simple and accessible source of color inspiration.
Usage and licensing
Gradients in the main Gradient Hunt collection are free to use. A separate Photoshop pack of 500 gradients is sold as an optional add-on.
