Meshy turns text descriptions and visual references into 3D models. Start with a photograph, sketch, or concept image when showing an object is easier than describing its shape. It helps explore dimensional versions of characters, products, and graphic elements. Beyond shape generation, the service provides AI texturing and remeshing tools. These help develop a model’s appearance and adjust polygon counts before moving into another editor. Automatic rigging and animation are available for suitable characters, with capabilities depending on the input, model, and subscription plan. Generated results can become starting points for scenes, visualizations, or further manual modeling. Review geometry, textures, and scale before using an asset in production. For 3D printing, separately check mesh suitability: image-based generation does not guarantee accurate dimensions or a structurally reliable object. The free plan provides 100 monthly credits, one concurrent task, and lower queue priority. The current comparison table limits free downloads to ten Meshy 6 Lite models each month. Paid plans expand tool access, credits, and downloads; check allowances before planning a batch of assets. Free output uses CC BY 4.0 with Meshy attribution, permitting commercial use within that license. Paid users can keep content private. However, the terms allow non-Enterprise inputs and outputs to support training and service improvement, so confidential client references require a separate review of the applicable conditions.
