Noise & Texture is a free Figma plugin for quickly creating procedural noise, textures, patterns, gradients and visual effects directly inside a design file. The plugin works on selected layers: apply an effect, adjust the settings and see the result update live. It is useful for grainy backgrounds, textured gradients, abstract surfaces, posters, covers and experimental visual treatments. Available options include static noise, seamless textures, Perlin-style patterns, gradients and procedural shaders. Newer versions also add effects such as halftone, dither, blur, distortion and pixelation, plus patterns inspired by wood, marble, rock, glitch and paper. Users can adjust size, noise amount, structure, color and other parameters. Some modes also support experimental export or embedding workflows for web, iframe or video output. Noise & Texture is especially useful for graphic, UI/UX and web designers who want to add grain, depth and texture without leaving Figma. The plugin was created by designer and developer Rogie King. According to the plugin information, processing does not send design data to external servers and AI is not used by the plugin.
The plugin is free on Figma Community. Check the creator’s and Figma Community’s current terms for any specific export or commercial-use requirements.
