About this resource
Skribbl is a premium illustration platform focused on artwork created by real human artists from around the world. Every illustration is hand-drawn and hand-selected, with the platform explicitly positioning itself around human-made art rather than generative AI imagery. The library currently includes roughly 3,000 illustrations from more than 70 independent artists. Artwork is organized into themed packs and categories including business and education, food and drink, health and fitness, holidays, nature, people and animals, travel and lifestyle, and abstract ideas. Illustrations are available as SVG or PNG files with transparent backgrounds. SVG files can be customized for branding and design systems, while PNG assets can be quickly used in presentations, websites, social media and marketing materials. Royalty-free does not mean free of charge. It means that after a one-time purchase, the customer receives a license without ongoing royalties for each use. At the time of review, individual illustrations are commonly priced at $15, while full illustration packs cost $45. After purchase, Skribbl provides a non-expiring, non-exclusive, non-transferable worldwide license for personal and commercial use. Purchased illustrations may be modified and used in client work, print products and digital projects, with no attribution required. Source files may not be resold, redistributed or sublicensed as standalone assets, and the illustrations may not be compiled to create a competing library or service. Skribbl also aims to support independent artists directly and promotes the Only Human Art initiative, which advocates for human-made creative work in the era of generative AI.
Usage and licensing
Illustrations are purchased once and include a non-expiring royalty-free license for personal and commercial use with no required attribution. Standalone resale or redistribution of source files is prohibited.
