Best Free Fonts — 200+ Curated Free Fonts for Designers
A curated collection of 200+ free serif, sans serif, display, script and monospace fonts with style and license information.
About this resource
Awwwards Free Fonts is a thematic type collection curated by the Awwwards team. It gives designers a visual starting point for exploring typography for websites, identities and posters, then building a shortlist to test in a real layout. The selection includes restrained sans serifs alongside expressive display faces and more experimental lettering. Examples include Geist, NOHEMI, PP Mori and Galgo Condensed. You can browse the collection across multiple pages and open individual entries for a closer look. An entry provides a visual specimen, descriptive tags and a route to an external resource. The amount of explanation varies between entries, so check the creator or foundry website for the complete family, available file formats and current download conditions. The collection is useful while deciding on a visual direction: compare letter proportions, headline character and overall tone before testing candidates. Use your actual content at the sizes your project needs. For Ukrainian-language work, verify Cyrillic coverage, Ukrainian letters and punctuation separately. Browsing the collection is free. Its name does not establish a shared license for every typeface: some entries lead to trial fonts or versions restricted to personal projects. Before commercial use, check the specific license, required styles and permitted uses at the original source.
Usage and licensing
Free access to the collection does not grant font rights. Individual creators or foundries set the terms, which may include trial versions, personal-use restrictions and paid commercial licenses. Verify the current license for each typeface, including web embedding, apps, modification and redistribution.
Check the creator’s current terms before using this resource.Similar resources
