About this resource
ElevenLabs is a platform for working with synthetic speech and other audio workflows. Its tools cover text-to-speech, transcription, voice design, sound effects and additional creative production features. For designers and video creators, it can help explore narration, timing and the sound direction of a concept. Start with a short script and compare delivery, pronunciation and pacing before committing to a longer recording. Studio supports assembling audio projects, while the wider service offers different tools for creators and developers. Availability and consumption vary between products, so one subscription should not be assumed to include every capability without limits. The current Free creative plan includes 10,000 credits per month and three Studio projects. Credits are usage units rather than a universal duration of finished audio: model and operation choices affect consumption. Higher allowances, commercial licensing and some voice capabilities require paid plans. The Free plan cannot be used commercially. When sharing free speech content non-commercially, ElevenLabs requires attribution with elevenlabs.io or 11.ai in the title; free Eleven Music output uses the separate Eleven Music attribution rule. Paying later does not retroactively make earlier free generations commercially licensed. Beta services and music have additional restrictions. Use only voices and recordings you are authorised to use, and review every result for names, numbers, factual accuracy and pronunciation. Obtain appropriate consent for cloning or identity-related use. For a client project, verify the specific service terms and rights before exporting the final soundtrack.

Free output is non-commercial and requires applicable attribution. Paid licensing is not retroactive; beta and music terms differ. Voice cloning requires appropriate rights and consent.
