Krea

About this resource

Krea brings several visual creation tools into one browser workspace. Designers can explore image directions, use references, edit an existing picture and enhance selected results without treating every step as a separate application. The wider platform also offers video and other model-based workflows, with availability depending on the plan. Its realtime tools are useful when the brief is still taking shape: adjusting a prompt or canvas can help compare composition, colour and mood. Image generation and variation tools suit moodboards, concept exploration and early visual studies. These are practical starting points for a designer’s own selection and refinement. The Free plan currently provides 100 compute units per day, without requiring a payment card. Units are not a fixed number of finished images: consumption depends on the model and operation. The free offering includes limited enhancement and training capabilities; larger allowances and broader tools require a paid plan. A crucial distinction is licensing. Krea explicitly states that images generated on the Free plan are not licensed for commercial use. Paid-plan generations have commercial licensing under the applicable terms. Free experimentation should therefore not be presented as a source of unrestricted client-ready assets. Check fine detail, anatomy, lettering and consistency before using a result. Only upload reference material you are entitled to use, and verify the current model, plan and usage rights before moving from exploration to production.

Usage and licensing

Free-plan image generations are not licensed for commercial use. Paid output licensing is subject to Krea terms and third-party rights.
