Aura Vector privacy

Updated 7 October 2026

This notice describes the Windows desktop edition of Aura Vector by Deslove. The website account has its own privacy policy, linked below.

Your documents stay on your computer

The desktop editor reads the documents you open and converts them locally. It does not automatically upload their contents for conversion. Saved files, automatic draft recovery, interface preferences and editing history can remain on your device. Drafts are not a substitute for saving your work to a file.

First activation

When you request activation, Aura sends a randomly generated device public key and your selected interface language to Deslove over HTTPS. You sign in and approve the device in your browser; your password is not entered into Aura. Deslove associates the approval with your account identifier and issues a signed permit containing that identifier, the device public key, an issuance time and a random permit identifier. Pending activation data expires after the short activation window, normally 10 minutes.

Local storage and offline use

The device key and activation permit are stored using Windows-backed protected storage. This protection does not apply to ordinary saved documents or recovery drafts. After activation, the editor verifies the permit locally without periodic online renewal. Signing out of or deleting a website account does not remotely erase saved files or revoke a permit already stored on an offline device. Anyone with access to your Windows session may be able to open local work.

Support requests

When you submit the support form, Deslove stores your name, reply email, request type, subject and description, any version or environment details you provide, the interface language, source label and submission time. If you are signed in, the request is linked to your account. Deslove administrators can read the request and record its handling status and internal notes. The form does not accept attachments. Send only details you are permitted to share; do not include passwords, activation secrets, private keys or sensitive document contents.

Aura website statistics

Where website analytics is enabled, Deslove counts browser sessions that open the web editor and explicit transitions from the web or Windows editor to the website or sign-in. A random browser-session identifier is stored only as a keyed hash in these statistics, alongside the source, date and first-seen time. A newly created account may be marked as having arrived through Aura when it follows an Aura transition within 24 hours. These figures describe browser sessions, not an exact number of people. Document contents, editing actions, IP addresses, device keys, activation codes and browsing histories are not stored in these analytics. These statistics respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control requests. Activity is pruned according to the configured retention period; registration attribution is removed when its account is deleted. Security and technical records are separate.

Website, support and Microsoft Store

Activation and support requests pass through Deslove hosting and security infrastructure; technical records may contain an IP address and request metadata. Website registration, optional Google sign-in, cookies, account records and support messages are covered by the Deslove website policy. Microsoft processes Store installation, updates and any Windows or Store diagnostic information under its own policies. Aura does not include an advertising SDK or send document contents as application analytics.

Your choices

You can delete your saved documents yourself and manage your Deslove account in website settings. Removing local application data also removes recovery drafts and the local activation permit and will require activation again; save important work first. Files saved outside application storage remain separate. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, contact [email protected]. Do not send passwords, activation secrets or private keys.
