Select two overlapping closed shapes for shape operations. Convert strokes to outlines from the Path menu first.

Type directly on the canvas. Enter: new line. Ctrl / ⌘ + Enter or click outside: finish. Esc: cancel this edit.

Turn letters into vector paths: edit nodes and handles, add or remove points. The result is no longer editable as text; press Ctrl+Z to undo.

Advanced text

Width 0 disables wrapping. Select text and one path to place text along a curve. Uses an editable path copy; the original is unchanged.

Up to 2 MB per font. Fonts are embedded only in local Aura files. Use fonts whose licenses allow embedding.

Features only affect glyphs supported by the font. Simple substitutions and ligatures are supported; contextual shaping, variable-font axes and complex-script mark placement are not a complete typesetting engine.

Letter pair Adjustment (px)

Adds to the font spacing for this pair only. A nonzero adjustment separates a ligature at this boundary. Editing the pair resets its adjustment; unchanged pairs retain theirs.

Precision and icons

Pixel snapping takes priority over smart guides. Odd strokes use half-pixel centres. Align moves the selection as a whole; it does not reshape curves. Ctrl/Command temporarily bypasses snapping.

Drop in a folder’s center to nest, or at a row edge to reorder. Shift selects a range within a folder; Ctrl / ⌘ toggles layers.

Arrows open folders. Double-click a name to rename. Enter edits inside a selected group; Esc exits. The dot cycles folder color labels. Mask and text structures are protected from reparenting.

Artboards

Click a name to activate an artboard. Check boxes select ZIP exports. Duplication includes whole objects fully inside the artboard.
