About this resource
Book of Shapes by Nikolaj Sokolowski brings together minimal generative patterns. Its collection spans grids, flowing lines, radial forms, isometric compositions and organic structures. It offers starting points for background graphics, posters and visual systems. Each pattern has its own parameters. Woven Grid, for example, exposes columns, rows, displacement, subdivision steps and a seed. A single structure can produce different results without manually redrawing every line. Pattern pages provide Download SVG and Copy for Figma. Vector output supports further editing and scaling. A separate Make a poster route offers a typographic composition using the pattern as configured. Browse thematic groups or popular designs to find a direction. Individual descriptions explain construction principles and credit influences. These notes help you choose a pattern for its underlying character rather than its thumbnail alone. Ordinary generated results may be used personally or commercially without required attribution. Redistribution as pattern packs or the basis of another generator is excluded. Joy Division, Joy Division Mesh and Brockmann Beethoven Arcs are study-only exceptions and may not be published or sold. The licence does not cover the site’s code or node graphs.
