About this resource
HalftonePro creates halftone patterns from images or gradients in a browser. Separate graphic elements combine into tonal transitions when viewed from a distance. Controls cover the grid, element size and rotation, contrast, foreground and background colors. Wave, radial and random layouts offer alternatives to a regular arrangement. These settings make it useful for exploring the texture of a composition. Try it for poster studies, cover concepts and decorative backgrounds. Start with a simple composition and check readability at the intended size: a fine halftone can behave differently on screen and in print. Unregistered users can export PNG but cannot upload their own images. A free trial account enables uploads, with watermarked PNG export and no SVG export. The current pricing table lists a one-time payment for full functionality, including HalftonePro, Polygons and Stripes. Paid SVG export is useful when the result needs to scale. Before commercial use, check the rights to your source material and the service terms; export access alone does not establish an unrestricted license.
