FlipCut Studio turns a collection of photos into a short stop-motion animation directly in your browser. Its three visual approaches focus on postage stamps, moving photo collages and paper mattes. Add your images, choose a composition and adjust the timing instead of building an entire video project from scratch. Stamp gives photographs a perforated postage-stamp border. Scrapbook uses split-flap transitions and tiled grids, while Matte combines cut-out apertures with typography. The templates offer a starting point for photo stories, presentations and short social posts with a handmade visual character. The editor includes controls for frame duration, backgrounds, image placement and scale, grain and small jitter movements. Portrait, square and landscape layouts are available, alongside paper textures and sound options. Finished animations export as MP4 files. According to the service, photos are processed on your own device rather than uploaded to its servers. No account is required, and projects are kept in your browser’s local storage. Clearing the browser’s data also deletes those locally saved projects. All three templates and the editing tools can be used for free, with free video export limited to 720p. A one-time Pro purchase unlocks higher export resolutions, additional paper textures and the full sound library. Check whether your composition includes Pro assets before exporting.
