Magic Animator is an AI-powered animation tool by the Lottielab team for turning static Figma designs into motion quickly. It works directly with Figma and is designed for creating animations for logos, interfaces, icons, social media, advertising, websites and mobile apps without building every motion sequence from scratch. In the current beta, designers can select artwork in Figma and describe the desired motion with a text prompt. A Brainstorm mode can also generate several animation ideas without a prompt, while multiple generations can run in parallel so different directions can be explored and compared faster. A key advantage of Magic Animator is that generated motion remains editable. The tool follows the structure of Figma layers and produces editable keyframes, presets and animation properties that can be refined manually in a full motion editor. This makes AI a fast starting point rather than a black-box final render. Finished animations can be exported as Lottie files for websites and apps, or as GIF and MP4 for presentations, advertising, social media and other digital formats. Magic Animator is particularly useful for UI/UX, brand and graphic designers who want to quickly animate a logo, icon, loading screen, interface element or finished design. Magic Animator uses a credit-based model. During beta testing, Lottielab provides free credits to help users try the tool, with additional credits available through top-ups. Because beta pricing and credit rules may change, current limits and costs are best checked directly inside the plugin.
Under Lottielab’s Terms of Service, users retain intellectual property ownership of the content they submit. Users remain responsible for having the necessary rights to third-party logos, fonts, images and other materials. AI and credit-related terms may change during beta, so the current Terms should be checked before commercial use.
