Spline is a browser-based editor for interactive three-dimensional scenes. It gives designers a way to explore form, movement and object behaviour while seeing changes in real time. It is useful for web experiences, product presentations and compact interactive compositions that need more depth than a static image. Start with basic shapes, then adjust materials, lighting and the camera. A scene remains a collection of editable objects, making it easier to refine an idea and compare different visual directions. A small, focused experiment is often more useful than beginning with an elaborate environment. States, events and animation add responses to interaction. You can explore a hover effect, an object transition or a motion sequence that explains a product. Shared editing gives a team a common place to develop the scene and discuss changes. The Free plan limits personal files and includes a watermark on web exports. It provides unlimited file viewers and access to the Spline Library, but does not include AI credits. Watermark-free exports and more advanced publishing, media and workspace capabilities depend on paid plans. For a first project, choose one main object and one purposeful interaction. Check the result on smaller screens and test performance before embedding it on a website. Imported models, textures and other assets still require their own permissions; access to the editor does not replace those checks.
Proprietary freemium service. Free web exports carry a watermark; third-party assets retain their own licenses.
